April is here! Finally! I don’t know about you, but I am excited to see the tulips pop through the ground and the grass start to green up. As excited as we are for a change in climate, we are even more excited to help our customers with all of their insurance needs. Being a State Farm Agent has been a dream of mine since high school. My parents were insured with the local State Farm agent and I always knew that we were well taken care of. State Farm has always meant community to me. The "Good Neighbor" has been our slogan for years and that is what we strive for in our agency each day. We don't just help people with their insurance, we have the privilege to do things differently, to make sure that our community, our neighbors, are properly protected.

I am a MN native. I grew up near Detroit Lakes, MN. Our family moved to Waconia in 2021 and we love it hear. Waconia and the surrounding communities have welcomed us with open arms. My kids love being Wildcats and playing their sports here. We love being in the community and meeting new people. As an Ambassador with our local Chamber of Commerce I get to welcome other new businesses to the community just as we were 2 years ago.

Hello, my name is Corey Hatanpa, and I am an Account Manager here at Andy Mohn State Farm in Waconia, Minnesota. I have been here since April 2022 and I have really enjoyed getting to meet some of you already! I look forward to meeting more of you very soon.

I grew up right down the road in Chaska, Minnesota but I am currently living near Lake Minnetonka in Mound, Minnesota. When I am away from the office, I am usually out on a lake fishing for muskies, watching Minnesota sports teams, or getting together with family and friends. I also am a big foodie, so I love going to local restaurants and checking out new spots in the metro area. When I get a chance to travel, I usually head out to a State Park to go fishing and hiking.

I love my job because I am able to build great relationships, get involved in the community, and care for others by helping them properly protect and invest in their future.
